The ecosystem / Agri-Dollar
Agricultural capital.
A defined purpose.
Agri-Dollar is a purpose-bound agricultural value and settlement layer. It is designed to connect committed funding with the activity, recipient or outcome it is intended to support.
The operating principle
Connect the allocation to the activity.
-
01
Define the purpose
Agree the programme, eligible participants, approved providers and uses of value.
-
02
Set the conditions
Specify what can be redeemed or paid, the evidence required and who authorises release.
-
03
Verify and settle
Connect verified activity to the agreed settlement process through approved providers.
-
04
Reconcile and report
Track the allocation, delivery, payments and unused value against the programme’s rules.
Four programme examples
Different needs. The same accountability.
Illustrative models from the TerraNexus presentation. Each requires its own implementation design.
Farmer input vouchers
A funder allocates support to eligible farmers. Approved suppliers deliver defined inputs, with verification informing settlement and programme rules governing unused allocations.
Regenerative transition support
Multi-stage support can connect inputs, training and advisory services to agreed transition milestones, helping a programme monitor progress over time.
Buyer-funded produce settlement
Buyer funds are connected to produce delivery, weighing, grading or acceptance. The agreed evidence supports payment release in local currency.
Mechanisation support
A public programme can link support to verified land preparation or another defined service, with settlement following the required delivery evidence.
Roles and responsibilities
Funding and field evidence belong together.
FarmerPlus supports the farmer and agricultural evidence. FORUS-Grow supplies the surrounding allocation, transaction, reconciliation and reporting workflows.
Agri-Dollar expresses the purpose and settlement rules for the agricultural value moving through that programme.
Before a programme begins
- Define the eligible use and beneficiary.
- Agree who verifies and who authorises.
- Set rules for exceptions and unused value.
- Confirm the providers and local settlement arrangements.
Common questions
Understand the model.
Does “Agri-Dollar” mean payments are made in US dollars?
The presentation includes programme allocations illustrated in dollar values and settlement in local currency. The actual denomination, conversion and settlement arrangements must be defined for each programme.
Can a farmer spend the allocation anywhere?
Purpose-bound funding is designed around the programme’s eligible uses and approved participants. Redemption conditions and provider access are part of that design.
What happens to unused funding?
The programme must define expiry, cancellation, return or other treatment of unused allocations. The presentation illustrates expiry and removal of unused value; the implementation must make the applicable rules explicit.
Is this currently open for public purchase or investment?
This site explains an agricultural funding and settlement model. It does not offer a token purchase, investment product or open wallet service. Participation begins with a scoped programme discussion.
