Country-level coordination

Global connections. Local accountability.

The presentation describes the Country Director as the national coordinator of the WAF ecosystem: connecting national priorities with appropriate global capability and local implementation.

That role includes digital tools, practical innovations, supplier and market relationships, delivery pilots, funding and partnerships.

A country programme needs

Clear ownership of each part.

A local lead, participating cooperatives, a delivery team, service and market partners, an agreed financial model, and a manageable set of outcomes.

Structure a pilot

For funders

Follow the connection between capital and activity.

Purpose-bound funding is designed to connect an allocation with its intended farmer, provider, service or agricultural milestone. The programme sets the evidence and release conditions.

FORUS-Grow supports the economic workflows around that programme. FarmerPlus supports the farmer and field activity. Agri-Dollar describes the purpose-bound value and settlement layer connecting the two.

A controlled first step

Test the delivery model before expanding.

A pilot provides a way to test the working relationships, agricultural activity, evidence and economics within a defined scope. Expansion should follow what the implementation demonstrates.

The presentation references wider food-security and agricultural-development initiatives, including AgriConnect, AGROW Nigeria and CAADP, as potential areas of alignment. These references do not establish a funding commitment or delivery agreement with TerraNexus.
